Temple Process

The name is Ngu Nhac Linh Tu, one of the famous historical and cultural relics in the Huong Son scenic area. Sitting at the temple is associated with the legend of a general named Hung Lang, sent down by heaven to help the country. After assisting Phu Dong Thien Vuong in destroying An enemy, he left the king’s gold gift to the villagers of Yen Vy and flew to heaven. The King heard that he had built his temple at Ngu Nhac mountain for thousands of years of worship.
During the war, Trinh Temple was pretty much destroyed and was rebuilt in 1992 with architectural style in the style of “Tam” (harem – Dai Bai – front road), highlighted by the four-fold pictures. delicate carvings increase the sacredness.
Thien Tru Pagoda

According to some historical histories there is a story that, during a second safari in the South, King Le Thanh Tong and his general went through the Huong Son mountains to rest in the Lao mountain valley and let the soldiers eat rice . While enjoying the natural scenery, the King watched astronomy see this area in the position of the star Thien Tru (Kitchen God – a star owner of food) so the King named this valley as Thien Tru.
Thien Tru Pagoda is more than 400 years old (built in 1686). Through many years of war, the pagoda was destroyed in 1945, the remaining remains of the pagoda are only Thien Thuy tower and Vien Cong tower. The architectural style of the temple is called “The Five Gates of Three Levels” – ie five doors and three steps. The two sides of the yard are two rows of thatched houses to make visitors rest during the festival. In front of the first floor, there is a copper peak up to 3m high, and there is always smoke of incense. The current temple was rebuilt to the original smaller than the old one in 1988.
Tien Son Cave

The cave was opened at the same time as Thien Tru Pagoda and Huong Pagoda in the century (XVI – XVII), but due to the ancient wharf of the cave nature, it was filled with rocks. In 1903, a local man and his son went to dig tubers on Tien Mountain, dropped the knife into a deep cave to find and discovered Tien Son cave. By the year of 1904, the charity of Yen Vi village made a donation to reopen Tien Son cave and open a second cave on the right.
In the year of Dinh Mui 1907, the Duc Hung Hung Duc Association carved 5 statues from 3 white stone slabs dug in the cave (when the second cave was opened). Those five statues carved the family of Princess Ba, after coming to Huong Pagoda for healing and cultivating fruits … Tien Son Cave, although small, has a very beautiful topography and stalactites, such as Buddha’s hand, ivory White, heart, stone, gong stone, when knocked in, emanates sounds like music.
Giai Oan Temple

On the way to Huong Tich cave, you will reach Ho Khe stream (or Giai Oan stream). From here, looking up to the left is Giai Oan pagoda located on low mountain slopes, which is associated with the story of the Buddha Lady Quan The Am worshiping in Huong Tich cave. After being rescued by the mountain god from the dharma school to Huong Pagoda, where he removed the emerald rose to enter Huong Tich cave to practice. Ancient Giai Oan pagoda with curved red tile roof, each rustic ancient door, nearby is a small well, called Thien Thanh Tri well with clear and pure water.
Tran Song Temple

In the past, it was just a small temple built by the villagers of Yen Vy to worship her “Lord of the Forest” – a god who embodied the mountains and forests that was supposed to bring luck and wealth. The temple is in high mountains, at the foot of the mountain is a quite deep valley, looking over the valley is a hammock, so it is also known as Cua Vo Temple. This temple is not only a beautiful sight of Huong pagoda but also a place to keep cultural and historical marks of the nation. Typically, in 1958, when Uncle Ho visited Huong Pagoda, he had lunch here.
Huong Tich Cave

With a height of 390m, Huong Tich cave is considered the center of the scenic area of Huong pagoda, and is considered the Nam Thien the first cave – the most beautiful cave in Vietnam. In the cave is the place to worship Quan The Am Bodhisattva. This statue of Quan Am Buddha is made of gemstones with beautiful carvings during the Nguyen Tay Son Dynasty.
From the entrance of the cave, we have to go through 120 stone steps, the two sides are a forest of green trees. Inside the cave are dazzling stalactites with many unique shapes: the one resembling 9 dragons called “Tranh Chau”, What is like the Golden Tree – Silver Tree, or a buffalo, … It is a very delicate sculpted lotus stone pedestal, offered by two concubines of the Le – Trinh dynasty. There are also bronze statues cast from the years of Ất Dậu (1705), the reign of King Le Du Tong.
Hinh Bong Temple

Built in 1932, Hinh Bong Pagoda is also considered one of the famous sights in Huong Son. The road to the cave is quite steep and meandering, as if testing the perseverance of the devotees. Inside the cave is attracted by magnificent stalactites like lively chandeliers.
